Template:ImportedFrom

From Z31 Library
Revision as of 22:05, 20 October 2026 by CleanupBot (talk | contribs) (Default banner now says page was mechanically converted from an archived copy of the named site (uses site/title/archive/url/fetched that all 325 callers pass); LLM wording only with llm=yes; remove #if calls that rendered literally (no ParserFunctions))

Template:ImportedFrom

Banner placed at the top of pages converted from archived copies of external sites.

Usage

{{ImportedFrom|site=Xenonzcar|title=Z31 Nut and Bolt List|url=https://…|archive=https://…|fetched=2026-05-15}}
Parameter Meaning
site Name of the original site (e.g. Xenonzcar, Z31info)
title Title of the original page; used as the link text
archive URL of the archived copy on this server (link target)
url Original URL; used as the link target if archive is not given
fetched Date the copy was fetched
llm Set llm=yes only if the page text was written by an LLM rather than converted. This adds a "not hand-verified" note. Leave it out for mechanical site conversions.

Implementation note: this wiki does not have the ParserFunctions extension installed, so #if is unavailable. The LLM note is hidden with display:none when llm is not set; llm=yes turns that into an invalid CSS value, so the note shows. Because of this, any value of llm (even llm=no) shows the note, so omit the parameter instead. The old positional origin argument and category= parameter relied on #if, which never rendered, and no page uses them, so they were removed (2026-10-20).
