Reword to 'archived copy of {title} ({site}, fetched {date})' so it reads naturally when title equals site name (no #if available)

'''Imported page.''' This page was converted from an archived copy of "[{{{archive|{{{url|}}}}}} {{{title|the original page}}}]" ({{{site|external site}}}, fetched {{{fetched|date unknown}}}). The conversion was mechanical, so tables, links and formatting may contain conversion artefacts. Compare against the archived copy if something looks wrong. |-

|}

Implementation note: this wiki does not have the ParserFunctions extension installed, so <code>#if</code> is unavailable. The LLM note is hidden with <code>display:none</code> when <code>llm</code> is not set; <code>llm=yes</code> turns that into an invalid CSS value, so the note shows. Because of this, ''any'' value of <code>llm</code> (even <code>llm=no</code>) shows the note, so omit the parameter instead. The old positional origin argument and <code>category=</code> parameter relied on <code>#if</code>, which never rendered, and no page uses them, so they were removed (2026-10-20).

Template:ImportedFrom[edit]

Banner placed at the top of pages converted from archived copies of external sites.

Usage[edit]

{{ImportedFrom|site=Xenonzcar|title=Z31 Nut and Bolt List|url=https://…|archive=https://…|fetched=2026-05-15}}
Parameter Meaning
site Name of the original site (e.g. Xenonzcar, Z31info)
title Title of the original page; used as the link text
archive URL of the archived copy on this server (link target)
url Original URL; used as the link target if archive is not given
fetched Date the copy was fetched
llm Set llm=yes only if the page text was written by an LLM rather than converted. This adds a "not hand-verified" note. Leave it out for mechanical site conversions.

Implementation note: this wiki does not have the ParserFunctions extension installed, so #if is unavailable. The LLM note is hidden with display:none when llm is not set; llm=yes turns that into an invalid CSS value, so the note shows. Because of this, any value of llm (even llm=no) shows the note, so omit the parameter instead. The old positional origin argument and category= parameter relied on #if, which never rendered, and no page uses them, so they were removed (2026-10-20).
