Air injection valve (1986-1989) ==<br /> <br /> The Air injection valve sends secondary air to the exhaust system just before the catylic converter to aid in removing emissions from the exhaust gases. When the exhaust pressure is below atmospheric pressure (negative Pressure), the secondary air is sent to the exhaust.
